Churro Dip for the Big Game or Anytime

There’s going to be a lot of wings eaten for the last game of the professional football season. And a lot of pizza. And a lot of savory food. We think there should be sweet treats for your sports banquet.

Sweet Churro Dip

This was a spontaneous idea from Mrs. WellDone as she was talking about standing in line to buy a churro at a convention. We were talking about dips for the football game and suddenly she said “You should do a churro dip.” So, we’re doing a creamy, sweet, cinnamony dip that tastes like churros but is a whole different experience.

You will need:

  • 6 12-inch flour tortillas, cut into eighths
  • 6 tablespoons ground cinnamon (divided)
  • Cooking spray
  • 1 package cream cheese at room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate or caramel chips
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Spray the tortillas with cooking spray and then put them into a plastic bag.
  3. Put half of the cinnamon in the bag and shake to coat.
  4. Arrange the tortilla pieces on a baking sheet and bake until crisp, usually 8-10 minutes.
  5. Mix the remaining cinnamon and the rest of the ingredients except half of the chips in a large bowl.
  6. Top the dip with the other half of the chips and serve with crisp tortillas

Enjoy!
