About

It’s Me I am professional food writer who lives and writes in Overland Park, KS (a suburb of Kansas City.) My passion for food began when I cooked in the kitchen with my father who still is a wonderful cook. I use the kitchen as classroom, therapy, science lab, and a way to connect with my wife and son and then I share those experiences via the written word.If you want to check out my work:

  1. Hey Fritz, I don’t know that would be a vegetarian dish, and I don’t know if you’re being serious or not, but that does sound kinda good. Chef Chris, do you have any ideas?

  2. Sure…

Soak the oysters in buttermilk for a few hours. If they’re really big, cut them in quarters before soaking.

After they have soaked, cover them in flour seasoned with paprkia, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper and salt. Shake off the excess.

Let them rest for five minutes.

After resting, fry in vegetable oil until golden brown, probably 4-5 minutes.

  3. I think it is great!!!! Can’t wait for you to come to cape may one day….LOL I am going to totally sucker you into teaching me how to make a meal…LOL

  4. Chris,
mamaelizabeth on Twitter said she gave you some info about visiting Cape May. I’m working on a story about how people use social networking to get good deals on travel or products. I was wondering if I could interview you for my newspaper, The Star-Ledger.
    Thanks,
